So what did I do during my unexpected break?
1. Had my hair done. Yes finally! Haha long, long overdue thing for my hair! Finally. Let's hope no more frizzy (in the literal sense) days. 2. Sort of cleaned my room (but when you look at it, it's like I didn't clean it out at all. Hehe). Found out that I am adik pala sa Christmas gift tags. I have so many unused ones - I guess I keep buying every year and keep forgetting that I have! Set them aside for next year, let's hope I remember! 3. P gave me the Millennium Trilogy and I really have to tear myself away from Lisbeth Salander and her adventures. I went through 1 and 2 in three days, but will not move on to 3 for now. I need a break! Which reminds me, I should have bought Never Let Me Go last week. :( Must look out for it next time I mosey over to a bookstore. 4. Working on my annual review of the past year. It was a so-so year. Read my daily and journal from last year. So-so year talaga.
Still have to accomplish my vision board and goals for the new year! Hard to reflect when there's a tempting good book to read. The weather too. Nice and rainy!
I love this from Paulo Coelho's Twitter: 2011: don't feel guilty. You deserve all good things that will happen to you.
Claiming this for the new year. :)Labels: new year, random

My red nails! Only on the hands --- should do the feet too for a Fight! Fight! Fight! New year, yes? ;)
I would like the next year to be a Fight! year indeed. The past two years have been quite a struggle. It's been a challenge to appreciate myself and all the things that have happened to me. So now, I am taking this unexpected time off from work to rid of the plenty of literal and figurative clutter in my life and create a vision for myself for the coming year. I need to focus and plan to what I want to be, where I need to go. So fight it is for the new year! No need to be frightened of where I am and how I am because, well, that's it. These are the choices I have made, will live with it and learn from it. :)Labels: life

Painted my nails red for the first time today (well, it was Amor who did it actually) and the look of chagrin on my mom's face was unmistakable. She was all, "What's that on your hand..." *trails off* Hahaha! Obviously she's not a fan and it's so un-me. Well, this will go off tomorrow once I buy polish remover, but I have a picture for posterity. It's just really funny to see people's reactions! I'm not a red nail polish kind of girl, but this one instance? I realize it's pretty fun! ;) Labels: random
