Unlike The Da Vinci Code, I am seriously looking forward to the Angels & Demons movie. I honestly liked that book better than DVC - even if I read DVC first. And I think Ewan McGregor is perfect for the role of the camerlengo. ♥ (But why is his character's name different from the book?) Labels: random

Patty Watty and I were texting how stressful life is lately and she was like, "baduy kase ang life pag walang stress." Wahhh can I just say to life to slow down a bit? I need to pause and catch up on things, thank you very much! Being busy is one thing, but constant stresses are a bit too much... Anyway, pulling through, pulling through. I can do this, you can't defeat me. ;) * * * I don't use my nickname - Monch - when dealing with clients. I would rather use my real name because it sounds more professional. But when I was speaking to a client (who I've spoken with quite a number of times due to his various concerns) today, I got so shocked when he said, "Wait lang, Monch," then he put me on hold. Oh my goodness, how did he know my nickname is beyond me! Goodness. Speaking of names, last Friday, we were talking about real names and how nurses have a big impact on names of kids as they fill out the birth certificates. Like how some people have misspelled names because the nurse in the hospital wrote the name in such a way. Amor mentioned her niece's "Maria" was only "Ma." in her birth certificate, so it was sayang daw that she has to spend to have it in full. I didn't know that was important! They turned to me, knowing I had a "Maria" in my name and asked me, "Buo ba Maria mo?" "Uh... yeah," I said (although not sure... have to check my birth cert). They told me I was fortunate that it was spelled it out, but I realized it had that much bearing pala? I always write "Ma." only. Anyway, when I got home, I made sure my birth certificate had my name in full. Thank goodness it did. :) Now my main concern (and next segue to my friends) is if that "Maria" is not on my driver's license (but I think I have to go to the LTO Main for that! Wah!).
