It's May and... it's rainy. Summer seems to have ended early. It usually doesn't rain until the end of May, around my birthday. Because of the strange weather and how I do not seem to carry around my umbrella anymore, I am down with a bad cough. Wah.

Today, due to a system problem, KV and I gave up working and headed off for some bonding over retail therapy (for her) and coffee. I haven't spoken to her in ages - due to work and our busy schedules. I was very glad to have this time to chat. A lot of things happened the past days month that caught us off guard. All I can say is, I'm glad she came through April unscathed and will be looking forward to a bigger and better May and beyond! Goodness, all we can do is to be positive and do our best. Strange how everything is just so weird for the two of us lately, but at least we're learning and hopefully, this is also character-building.
