After reading Tessa's entry regarding Friday's bombing and hearing a terrible and sad story about a former officemate who was one of the casualties in the blast, I really felt horrible. Last Friday was one of the most fun lunch breaks and getting back to the office, we heard there was a bombing in Glorietta. Such a scary, sad and unfair occurrence.
That area is where we usually go to (the Bayo area, Gwennie and I usually pop over Luk Yuen before we part ways whenever we meet up, we usually park in Park Square 2). It's scary to think that an idle day in the mall can turn out to be so traumatic and disastrous. I work and live far from Makati, but I usually go to Glorietta and I'm quite familiar with it. I feel bad knowing we're not safe again and that there's no way to stop these people and their motives. :(Labels: life

Dun ako naiinis. Wala namang ginagawa yung mga victims nung araw nayo at yung oras na yun kundi magrelax or kumain or bumili lang ng mga kelangan nila or makipagkita sa mga kaibigan nila. Then because of some selfish and evil act, nawala ang buhay nila.
Yun yun eh. Buhay nila ang naging kapalit. Ano ba! I hate the people who did this for doing what they did.
Grabe after all that happened and the investigation shows a gas tank (or something) that blew up and not a bomb? So many people find that hard to accept with such a huge number of senseless deaths, trauma and injuries. Not to mention the loss of a sense of security. :(
